The set bonuses on this are very nice. 10% extra damage on rupture is a nice boost to DPS, especially seeing as it accounts for a fair percentage of damage done. 5% less energy on combo moves means more Sinister Strikes for combat, and more Mutilates for assassination, and better energy efficiency for Mutilate spec (something I always found problematic when I raided as that spec in BC).

My only gripes are the blue slots, however with a green gem that gives hit rating and stamina, this can be worked around, and the comparative lack of hit. However, this can be worked around with other gear, I’m sure.

A great set, you are definitely going to want to gem for hit and find lots of hit for all your other slots, but otherwise a great set with nice bonuses

I have to say that in the past I haven’t liked any of the Rogue Tier armour sets. Never really liked the bonuses or the look.

So when I started searching for the best gear and found this set I was pleasently suprised. It looks amazing, and the bonuses are the best.

This set with dual Librarian Papercutters… soo cool.

To those wishing to replicate the old t3 set in all 8 pieces, pick up the Dawnwalkers, Belt of the Tortured, and Thrusting Bands. They all match this set perfectly 😀

rupture is up all the time for both combat and muti,
but a flat -5 energy discount, unlike a %-based one, increases combat dps more than muti :/ (5/40 > 5/60)

Still a great set for muti rogues 🙂
Especially for farming, where your burst is buffed much more than through gladiator’s +10energy

The four piece bonus on this piece is excellent, especially for mutilate spec.

To get the most out of this spec, try getting the Helmet, (looks more like a muzzle though), the shoulders, the gloves and the legs. (I personally am going to buy the Legs and Shoulders with 75 and 60 emblems of Valor respectively)

Then, get the chest that drops from Malygos: Chestguard of the Recluse

Alternatively, you can grab the T7.25 Chest, and obtain the gloves from Malygos: Frosted Adroit Handguards

So that’s the best way to make use of that awesome T7 bonus. Good luck!

This set is really nice with the -5% energy on combo moves, especially since I’m a combat rogue and I love spamming sinister strike, mong other things. But what is really nice about this set is that ALL of the pieces contain atleast 1 slot, which makes this easy to upgrade and very flexible w/ what you need.

For all you lazy bums out there the four set bonus only reduces non-finisher abilities. This includes Gouge, SS, Mut, FoK etc. It does not reduce energy cost of kick or feint or blind.

It takes 3 energy off the cost of gouge, mutilate and FoK. I’m not sure if the reduced SS talent chances this but currently my SS is 42 energy. making it 37 for you combat hard-cores.

Always dreamed of owning a set of Bonescythe, the set has always looked, in a sense, rogue-ish; partial face mask to hide identity but not to obscure the vision and prevent inhalation of toxins, knives on shoulders/boots for easy access to throwing weaponry, sleek and tight around to person not to get caught on anything and also to allow full mobility.

And now it’s back, upgraded to have very awesome stats, and the midnight blue with gold trim’s very sexy.

Anyone else think they might add other pieces to this set? Boots are conspicuously absent, especially. And waist and wrist pieces. Be good way to buff the set even more, and if they put them in whatever post-naxx raid content comes out, that would help motivate rogues to go get in there.

this set is sweet my rogue is assas/sub spc and pulls of 8k ambushes and 9k evicerates with it. still it doesnt berat my naxx gear by trhat much but heck who cares it looks awesome on my male undead rouge,

especially with ap and res rating on head and shoulders and a belt buckle onb belt for an extra meta what could be better

The lack of hit rating on this set, is actually fantastic despite what said earlier. With 5 of the pieces, plus your other’s you’ll have easily enough hit to satisfy the new, low amount of hit that Combat Rogues should be using, you wouldn’t gem hit in this at all. (As a Combat Rogue).

when it says combo moves.. i think it refers to eviserate, rupture, slice and dice etc. moves that actually require combo points to be used.. unlike sinister strike and mutilate which do not require combo points but energy

this is such a good rogue armor so good with agilty and stamina good crit rating and leads up to a good amount of armor . if you get green hair with spikes it look’s really good with the helm

If you are searching for boots to complete your transmogrification gear, Сапоги капитана Эллис is a good choice. Sold by Хексил Гаррот in Dalaran’s sewers, for 417 Justice Points.

For transmog purposes, here are all the matching pieces for this set:

Feet: Шаги Рассвета and Обмотки подлого обмана from Naxx 25. Or Сапоги капитана Эллис from vendors in Dalaran
Waist: Пояс Страдающих and Камуфляжный пояс from Naxx 25

Wrist: Наручники грешника and Тесные поручи from Naxx 25 (These won’t show under the gloves)

I would also recommend the Стильная черная рубашка which is a great color match to hide the gap between chest and gloves.
I really like this back Накидка черного призрака with this set, and since I am not a big fan of the head piece I would rather use Ночной дозорный which I think matches pretty well and has a nice rogue-ish look.

Let me just tell everyone right now, this set is a COMPLETE *!@#$ to get. With my rouge I bought the Heroes version of this. The easier one to get. Anyways , I had thought I was getting the Valorous but apparently not. Also it is a very nice set to have. Unfourtanately for me,I’ll be grinding to 99 and then going back to club some bosses in the face for my well deserved gear. Good luck everyone, and don’t make my same mistake.

Tier 3 for rogues. everyone who can use leather can use it. sells on the black market action house. every piece is 10.000 gold each. this fits really good for transmog for both rogues druids and monks. but it can also be used on level 60 twinks if you get a portal to pandaria. good thing is this makes 60 twink monks possible. also it’s friendly to feral druids (tier 1,2 & 2.5 is for healers)

I purchased legs and chest pieces on my 60 monk twink, and the 2 set bonus does work for other classes aswell which is great since its the only set bonus we can obtain from 60 gear.

Edit: Ive now leveled him and continued collect the set for transmorg, Ive got every fairly cheap from black market. and the boots were free since theres look alike in Karazhan trash drop table.

This is a special nice looking set in my opinion but not alot seem to notice how unique this set is.

Guess its only Dreadnaught (warrior tier 3) that gets all the attention.

I’ve encountered this before, and I want to make this statement:
DON’T get this set on a user who can’t transmog it if you’re getting it for Legion (ie Warrior, Paladin etc.)
Although you can equip it, it WILL NOT count towards your transmog collection. It MUST be on a Druid, Demon Hunter, Monk, or Rogue. I can’t find the tweets confirming this, but it’s just how to transmog system is so far. CONFIRMED. This could change in the future.
I want to note this, as I’m currently gathering the Dreamwalker set on my monk. I saw a warrior grabbing the Frostfire set.
If this doesn’t turn out to be true, I’d rather be safe than sorry and lacking a lot of gold and vendoring transmog I can’t use.

P.P.P.S. Лоскутика можно слить в соло в 25 (это будет не легко) но я всегда брал с собой 2+ Дамагеров на всякий случай.
P.P.P.P.S. Если идете в Наксрамас лучше идите в пати 2+ тела так намного легче сливать некоторых боссов.
Upd: На 100-ом уровне зачищается в соло без проблем.

Снизу то, что отлично подходит к данному сету:
Даггеры Крест Апокалипсиса, Скальпель нескончаемой агонии, Кинжал заряженного крыла, Разитель Алисры, по моему выглядят отлично.

И еще: Маска самосозерцания версия мифика просто великолепно смотрится в данном сете (особенно если вы НЭ или БЭ)

Табард рекомендую Гербовая накидка Расколотого Солнца идеально подходит для данного сета.

Токкены обмениваются в Даларане у Валери Лангром.

В случае, если вы ходите с кистевым оружием, могу посоветовать взять под данный сет Нечестивый Увещеватель. Они идеально сочетаются с данным сетом. (чтобы купить кастеты необходимо уважение у фракции Рыцари Черного Клинка)

Для трансмогрификации под этот комлпект неплохо подходит Сабля Безликой Луны.
Периодически меч меняет свой цвет с ярко-голубого до тёмно-синего. При этом имеется небольшая анимация.

Сам меч мне выпал с ящика с утилём, мне он понравился и я не стал его продавать, вчера увидел этот комплект на другом игроке и решил собрать себе тоже, но мечей красивых не было, вспомнил про этот.

Так же он бывает в продаже на аукционе цена от 500 до 1000 золотых.

Подходит идеально. У меня так же на мечи наложены чары Знак Песни Войны, что даёт огненную анимацию. Анимация меча при этом работает (переливается из светло-голубого в тёмно-голубой).
