Did roughly 147 runs of Maw of Souls to try and get the Valarjar Stormwing, multiboxing five characters

In all opened 30 boxes, each one contained around 700-900 resources and 600-700g. None contained a mount.

Buckle in ladies and gentlemen, this might be a long one.

Edit 1: 5 more boxes. They can contain Curious Coins.

Edit 2: 20 boxes total, nothing. I think the chance for it to drop is probably under 10%

Edit 3: Took the next round a little easier. 25 boxes in and I have not received any item at all. Only currencies.

Edit 4: Slowing down with the instance grinding, relying on invasions and world quests. Pretty sure the drop chance is under 10%

Edit 5: Lost count, over 50, send help.

I’ve compiled some information on the various caches available from Legion factions after Exalted!

• Once reaching Exalted with a Legion Faction, you can obtain further reputation for rewards bags that can contain various treasures.
• These satchels are awarded for every 10,000 reputation you obtain beyond Exalted.
• Various activities will reward different amounts of reputation:

  Legion Storyline quests: 25-250 reputation

• Argus Storyline quests: 75-350 reputation
• Most World Quests: 75 reputation
• Dungeon, Rare Elite (Dragon Bordered) and (Broken Isles) Profession World Quests (Broken Isles): 250 reputation
• Dungeon Clears: 250 reputation

  Certain dungeons grant reputation for each clear — for example Чертоги Доблести and Утесы Адской Пасти grant Валарьяры reputation on completion.

Reputation Insignias (from Order Hall Missions): 250-750 reputation
Legion Invasions (Broken Isles): ~300 reputation (plus reputation for 4-6 individual Invasion World Quests)

Greater Reputation Insignias, obtained from completing Маги Кирин-Тора в Даларане Emissary Quest: 750-1500 reputation

The amount of reputation granted by the above sources can be increased by any reputation buffs, such as the following (note that some of the following buffs stack):

Contents

The Paragon caches typically contain Ресурсы оплота класса and/or gold, but can also have a small chance to contain Legendary items.
Each Paragon cache is guaranteed to contain 1-2 Любопытная монетаs.
In addition, each cache has a rare chance (<10%) to contain a special item depending on the faction. These are outlined below.

This is a depressing implementation on Blizzard’s part. I don’t mind the little extra grind past exalted. I don’t even mind that unlike previous expansions we don’t get to just buy a mount for a ridiculous sum after hitting exalted. I actually thought it was kind of neat. Made me feel like I was making an impact for the characters in the game… But then I opened the box for my sum of gold. Like, really? Joe Shmoe right next to me does the exact same thing and gets the dragon mount… Is Odyn is just like «Put a dragon in only SOME of the boxes quartermaster. I want to see them REALLY PROVE THEMSELVES!» I don’t mind a grind with a goal in mind, IE Netherwing Drakes. What I hate is a grind with the intent of trying to keep players minds off the lack of 7.2 progression each week because «We put in a lot for the classes.»… They very well may be but the main story is rather lacking and it is frustrating to feel like when I get on WoW it becomes a senseless grind. I don’t mind working for something. I love that rewarding feeling when I really try at it. I will keep at the CM artifact appearance until I finally obtain it. But time and skill should reward the effort. Not some lotto system of «Better luck next time ;P». Sorry for the rant, I love WoW, but things like this really make me mad.

Update: Still don’t have any macro, but looks like addon Rarity works very well, unfortunately it does’nt count boxes opened before installing.

Dear fellow rep/mount farmers.
In order for blizzard to improve our QOL we must help ourselves.
Please make an in-game suggestion to streamline Legion quests, just like in MOP.
Feel free to copy=paste this

If you are already exalted on 1 character in your battlenet account with a Legion faction, any subsequent gains on any character on your account should be made 100-200% more.

Something tells me Blizz lowered the chance for mounts from these since BFA. During Legion one of my friends got the Valajajajajaja mount (as I call it cause of my rage) about 8 times. Here’s me 2 years latter still nothing. I get 2 of the ones I HATE (HM Moose and Crackfallen Carpet) -_-

WTB ‘Trade in your unwanted mount for one you actually want from the same rarity/expansion tier’ system please Blizz or make em tradeable. Valajar is Love so I wont give up

Большое количество репутации с фракцией Валарьяры вы получите во время прокачки персонажа в локации Штормхейм. За выполнение большинства заданий вы получите в награду и репутацию. В результате прокачки в Штормхейме, вы заслужите Уважение у Валарьяров.

Локальные задания

Со 110 уровня вы сможете выполнять локальные задания. Просто откройте карту мира и псмотрите какие из них активны в Штормхейме. При наведении мыши на задание, вам покажут к какой фракции он относится. Чтобы начать выполнение задания, летите в зону активного квеста. За каждое такое задание вы получите 200-250 очков репутации. Учтите, что не за все задания вы получите репутацию, поэтому выбирайте внимательно.

Также существуют бонусные задания, в которых от вас требуется выполнить несколько локальных заданий в одной локации и которые будут активны в течение нескольких дней на вашем сервере. После выполнения 4 локальных заданий в Штормхейме, сдайте квест Вальдемару Искателю Бурь (находится здесь), который также является продавцом данной фракции. За это вы получите 1500 очков репутации.

Локальные задания Кирин-Тора

Большинство локальных заданий, которые вы выполняете на Расколотых островах, дают репутацию с одной из шести фракций Legion напрямую, но есть шанс встретить и задания Кирин-Тора.

Do not be mislead. just doing all the quests in Stormheim does not necessarily get you to Friendly I have done them all all on my DK and am only 150 into neutral.

This is not a guide to Valajar rep farming it just gioves some information but is most certainly NOT a guide nor does it give any indication where all the quest hubs are, or the breadcrumb trails that lead to quest hubs.

Only one quest hub is mentioned, admittedly not one most people ordinarily would stumble across.

If anyone does know of such a guide I for one would love to know the web page address.

Remember at all times.
This is wowhead and is often nowhere as informative as you might like or think.

Thankfully this particular page is not full of irrelevant comments on game Lore, not wanted or needed by most IN A GUIDE. Fine on a page about Lore.

Equally thankfully it is not full of comments by little boys on what colour/style/look their armour is, or which characters they either hero worship or more perversely are hot for, again none of which woul dbe helpful in a GUIDE.

The first dozen quests in the Stormheim storyline don’t give any rep. The rep starts at Испытание Хави which gives 10 and gets you started.

Fastest way to raise rep by far is by repeat running MoS normal, I honestly don’t know why people don’t know or don’t want to do it, especially with the world quests giving only 75 rep each. It’s harder to farm rep for Valarjar than for Suramar, tbh, so I’m now repeat soloing it on my druid. I get gold, I get AP (wq boss is in there too today, so it’s an extra AP token every run), and I get 3.5x more rep than by doing wqs. What’s not to love?

Defeating Helya in Maw of Souls still grants 250 rep per dungeon in 8.0 BFA, so farming it is currently the fastest and easiest way to farm the rep to exalted/paragon.

In Wowhead, to track the quest rewards from the Stormheim storyline, refer to the quest listing in the «Quests» tab. The Hammer of Khaz’goroth will reward you with an ilvl 800 Hands.

I’ve seen a couple players with the appearance of a female Valarjar, usually while their in combat. I’m not sure if they have all been female characters and that’s why they were female Valarjar and not male.

Выпал сегодня из сундука Валаньяров. Это 4тый по счету сундук и мне кажется, что дроп намного больше 1%, так как у меня уже есть ковер от помраченных и единорог от хачей снов. Имеет стандартный скелет драконов, который использовали еще в лк

Вангую кучу дизлайков, но мне всегда было интересно увидеть пруф, а именно момент дропа чего то рарного, а не «ура, выпал item_name», думаю, что я не один кому это интересно

Чем шикарен этот маунт?
Во-первых это единственный маунт, который выбился из прорисовки wow. Он просто прорисован в другом стиле, такое ощущение, что работал другой человек. Очень жаль если Близзы будут делать винигрет. Ведь всем нравится их умение держать себя в этой сказочной среде. Во-вторых, ну может не весь маунт, но голова убогая напрочь. В-третьих, драконов уже пруд пруди, можно было придумать, что-то другое, совсем у Близзов с фантазией худо. Сам собираю маунтов, но не буду получать этого — он испортит всю коллекцию.

пока открыла порядка 20ти сундуков — дракона нет

UPD: упал в 6:45 26.07.2017 из 24го сундука, счастью нет предела

Как по мне, то такая система получения маунтов полнейший бред. К примеру, если ты ходишь и фармиш Босса с надеждой, что с него таки выпадет нужный тебе маунт — это одно. Но когда набиваешь репутацию с фракцией до экзалтеда и ждешь награду за это, а тебе предлагают еще фармить её до посинения — это полная фигня. В итоге тебе остается только наедятся на свою удачу (упадет он тебе с 1го раза или 100500го — рулетка же). Эх… Почему убрали этих маунтов в Интендантов за превознесение я не понимаю. Как в старые добрые времена.
P.S. Маунт у Валарьяров классный)

Зачем качать репутацию?
Прокачка репутации до превознесения с фракцией Вальяры потребуется в любом случае, если же вы конечно хотите получить возможность использовать летающих маунтов на Расколотых островах. Остальные награды за полностью прокаченную репутацию станут скорее приятным бонусом, но об этом будет написанно чуть ниже.

Прокачка репутации:
Прокачка репутации в Легионе практически со всеми фракциями сведена к прохождению всех квестовых цепочек у фракции и выполнению локальных заданий. Если вы уже получили максимальный уровень, но еще не выполнили всех заданий в локации, то лучше доделать все квесты. Это не отнимет очень много времени, а в замен вы получите дополнительную репутацию и подфармите золота, а так же сможете заработать различные ачивы. Если вам ну очень лень делать квесты, то прокачивать репутацию вы сможете с помощью локальных заданий, но этот способ займет намного больше времени.

Дополнительные способы:
Но существуют и дополнительные способы прокачки репутации.

1. Дополнительное задание Валарьяры — Задание — World of Warcraft, это рандомно появляющийся квест бывает доступен несколько дней, после чего исчезает. Наградой за выполнение будет 1500 репутации и Сокровища валарьяров — Предмет — World of Warcraft.
2. Так же за выполнение локальных заданий Кирин — Тора в вы сможете выбрать Большой знак валарьяров — Предмет — World of Warcraft, использование которого увеличивает репутацию на 1500 единиц.
3. В сундуках с сокровищами можно найти Знак валарьяров — Предмет — World of Warcraft, использование которого увеличивает репутацию на 250 единиц.
4. Подземелья привязанные к фракции Утесы Адской Пасти — Игровая зона — World of Warcraft и Чертоги Доблести — Игровая зона — World of Warcraft. Убивая в них боссов ваша репутация так же увеличивается.
5. Фрост маги могут получить бафф Мудрость Совета — Заклинание — World of Warcraft поговорив с воспоминаниями Хранителей Трисфаля.
6. Охотники могут в оплоте в качестве соратника могут выбрать [Addie Fizzlebog] — Чемпион — World of Warcraft, у которого есть бафф Хроникер — Заклинание — World of Warcraft увеличивающий получаемую репутацию на 5%.
